Battery life was less than 2 hours which seemed quite short compared with other persons experience with their laptop

Could do with better dedicated graphics, the intel chipset really isnt anything to write home about.

A laptop of this spec. cannot be found for anything up to double the price - Core2Duo (ok, so a relatively low-spec one, but still good enough to run Vista with all features enabled at a fast rather than merely acceptable pace), 17" screen, decent RAM and (fast!) hard drive capacity. What's not to like?! Plus it is a relatively easy machine to upgrade at a future date with all major components easily accessible.

Hinges on the back of screen, they are placed in a weird angle. Charger port is in a weird place, on the left bit instead of the back, new for me bit akward Gets a bit hot on your lap if it is plugged in with charger

The touchpad is very annoying, it opens ,shuts programs at will. this is because the laptop doesn't know it has a touchpad. Its been told it has a ps2n mouse attatched to the ps2 port. this cannot be altered, the driver is a Vista driver for the alleged ps2 mouse.I bought a usb mouse to give me some controll.

good picture,good graphics,good weight. added web cam is a major plus.

the battery life is less than one hour,it maybe because it is a recond. laptop which means that we were unlucky with the purchase and just got a dud battery. i shall try to buy a new battry and measure them up.

the scrolling button on the mouses drives you bonkers and sometimes when you are typing you catch a button that moves your cursor to random places in the text...wish i could discover what it is it drives me mad!!!

For the price I paid and the spec I have on this laptop is brilliant. I have used memory cards from my phone and from my daughters camera straight into the side of the laptop and viewed them in seconds.

Maybe a little heavy and bulky but not enough to really concern.

Screen size and clarity is good, the overall condition is very good,

battery life less than half, and a little slow on start up.

Overall, very pleased with the product which provides good value for money.

The only downside seems to be the fairly short battery life. However, since I mainly use the product at home, this is not a major issue.

Superb item, lots of features and an absolute bargain at the price. performs well and have not had any problems with it so far, haven't used it without the power cable so far so can't rate the battery life

no numeric pad, just has the numbers on top of the letters, also, is a slight bit on the heavy side

Very pleased with sze of screen and performance of processors. People have complained about battery life, but I think it is quite good. It never seems to get too hot and the fans are not noisy when they come into operation. 3 Good usb ports. I like the switch to connect to wireless network. Good wireless reception. Very attractive design and well built.

Someteimes have problems when typing, I don't know if this is the way I type or oversensitivity of the machine itself. It could have been useful to have put in a 1.7 or 1.8 speed processor insetead of 1.5

Good for the price, good processor, nice large 17" screen for comfortable reading of text. would recommend for use at home more than taking it any where as it is slightly larger than the 15'4" screens and needs a larger bag.

The screen is 17" but I don't think they made the battery any bigger to compensate for the it, The design is not eye candy enough to be able to show off to your friends with it, it's just a very basic grey box, but if your not very trendy like me then that won't matter.
