easy to use washing programs all very well explained, low noise, great variable spin speed seems to make clothes feel dry to the touch as soon as you take them out.

some programs eg cotton cycle take a long time, if you put a heavier item in such as a bath mat then the drum seems to knock on the side of the washer.

Good points = easy to use - I've not even read right through the instructions and already know my cyles and duration times.

When installing it should be made much more obvious that the four bolts need to be removed prior to use - as my father and I found our machine vitually dancing round the kitchen. Once bolts removed the machine is as solid as a rock. The machine does not manuouvre easy - they are no wheels so moving in and out it difficult.

Lots of space for large pile of washing, very good wash and spins almost dry! Best machine we have owned by a long way! Highly recommended to anybody thinking of buying one!!

the washing machine is very easy to use and has very simple to understand controls it also looks very attractive the other redeming feature is the spin speed the washing comes out alsmost dry.it is also very economical on electricity which is an impotant factor in the present finacial climate.

I like the variety of cycles to choose from, and also that the door clicks to tell you when the machine is finished.

You can't stop the machine mid cycle and choose a different cycle.

baby cycle excellent at getting out nasty stains and crease limiter very good.

Disappointed there is no 40 deg synthetic wash ( only a 50 deg) synthetic wash. When using powder on a wool wash (40 deg), on completion of cycle the granules were left on the washing (liquid was recommended by the manufacturers) but on our previous machine we never ever had this problem in 10 years, using the same amount of powder. We changed to liquid but feel that the machine is not rinsing correctly to have left the powder on the washing after completion of programme. Liquid is more expensive to use. We have also noticed that the majority of programmes are longer than our previous machine.

Fabulous machine, very easy to use, lots of different cycles for different washing, and not noisy - even at 1400 spin - would defo recommend to anyone. Great looking display with lots of LED indicators - looks more expensive than it really is.

Noisy, the spin is so fast it seems to be taking off. Shakes my small apartment and probably annoys the people downstairs as I run my washed in the night. No proper countdown, Quick wash takes well over 30mins. No indication in instructions when to put conditioner, so I put it in the beginning which is probably wrong.

Very impressed with the price of the product . My previous machine was also a hotpoint and I never had any breakdowns so was determined to stay with the make.

Spin cycle is really noisey.

big drum I have had hotpoint for years and years no point in buying anything else because I think there is always something lacking in other machines

not really a bad point but check the depth of the worktop the washing machine will fitted under, because the machine is a bit deeper than my worktop and so it juts out a bit.

The Hotpoint is value for money as it is easy to use, no hassle and quick to pick up the diffrent features. The diffrent wash cycles are easy to chose and follow on the machine. The Eco cycles are very energy and water efficient.

So easy to use I just don't have enough washing.

I've had an Aquarius Hotpoint washing machine before and I knew that I would be pleased with this updated purchase. I do like the quick washes and the features on the machine.

The machine is quite noisy on the whole wash. Would be nice to have a bleep or something to notify when the wash cycle has finished.

All appear to be O.K. but the washer replaced another Hotpoint which seemed easier to use (By my wife) that one lasted for over 15 years. It is still in good order but needs a new front seal which I am seeing to. this one is better with more facilities which I am sure she will like better when she gets used to it.

None so far. Surprised there was only one connecting water pipe instead of a hot and cold.

does seem to get through the cycles much more quickly that previous machines i've owned. good choice of speeds and fair choice of washing temperatures from 30 degrees or cold - can mix and match temperatures and spin speeds with some of the washing programmes. washings items very well. overall I am very happy with this machine so far.

The cycle times are longer than previous washers I have owned but I'm impressed with the variety of programmes. Very easy to fit-we did it in 20 mins using the very clear instructions.
