It is competitively priced, its nice and compact (ie., it doesn't take up much space) and its basic and that's all I want from a printer. I prefer HP printers to all others that I've had -- Epson, lexmark etc.
Nothig to report as yet. I bought it as a back-up unit and as such it has not been overworked. It does exactly what it says on the tin!

Changing an ink cartridge can be a little awkward if you want/need to change before the installed cartridge is completely empty.

Sometimes paper goes halfway thru and stops, have to go thru routine to unjam paper feed.
