EASE OF USE FOR MY ELDERLY MUM

Easy to use, nice big door, quiet, pretty basic controls / settings so should be less to go wrong. Not expensive, had our last indesit for about 13 years !!! same sort of basic machine, hope this lasts as long.

Second time I have bought this machine, all seems to work very well.

Quick wash is only 29 mins and does a really good wash, reducing temp to 30 to save energy etc is worth while and doesn't seem to effect quality of wash. The saying you get what you pay for springs to mind, and more

not so keen on silver colour on front would prefer it if it was all white

Seems daft to have to press two buttons to make it start - a single on/off would do.

There's a quick cycle option, it's exceedingly easy to use, you can adjust the temperature down as low as you like on any cycle.......good for the environment!

No half load option

Half hour low-temperature wash for lightly soiled items such as my husbands shirts. They're not actually dirty, just need refreshing. More options for user control than I had thought.

This is the third Indesit machine I have purchased and they are very good value for the money. My son and his wife also swear by them.

This Indesit washing machine is excellent value for money. It might not have all the flashy functions that more expensive brands have, but it does the job brilliantly. There is a rapid wash option on most of the cycles, which cuts down the use of electricity and still gets the load perfectly washed. The drum holds a large load and it has two extra spin facilities if you want to cut down on drying times. I am delighted with my purchase.

Compared to my last machine, I find this one relatively quiet (it doesn't scare my nervous dog like the last one did!). I have found the machine to be excellent value and particulary like the daily 30 degree wash and the quick wash features. I have only had the machine for a few weeks but it is going well and I do think that it can take a larger load than my last one (which was a 5 year old Candy if your comparing).

I know that I did not spend a fortune on this machine so relative to the cost benefit ratio there aren't any bad points, however, a half load button wouldn't have gone amiss nore a hot fill

Quiet and really good spin cycle gets clothes nearly dry. Also has lots of different cycles for all sorts of washes.

I wanted a cheap simple to use machine and thats what I got. No problem working out how to use it, easily installed. I love the daily wash cycle.

Does what it says on the tin. No flash electronic programmers to go wrong. A good basic washing machine at a very good price.

None as far as we are vconcerned, some might wish for a faster spin speed.

Exactly as described in the advertisement, does the job that is expected of it, very happy with the product.

Holds a good amount of washing. It is very simple to use, even my daughter who has a learning disability and was never able to use the washing machine before is now able to do her own washing. Washing comes out well spun so dries much quicker.

This machine is quiet, funky looking, economical and washes really well!! I live in a flat and can't even hear it so am well happy!! LOL

I am a landlord, so the value for money was the most important aspect for me. However it was also easy to install and easy to use.

Only the cycle times are a bit long, but it is only a cheap machine

Cheap, cheerful and will probably be reliable if the last one was anything to go by.

Took a while to work out the double off-on switch.

Overall very pleased with the machine. Good wash results and sufficient control of washing settings without overly complicated controls.

The manual states that the powder tray can be removed for cleaning but provides very vague details of how to achieve this. Our attempt caused the tray to jam and came close to breaking it before we managed to re-seat it in the machine.

It is less noisy and better Spin but too long

To use less power Spin cycles MUST be made shorter. We all need to use less power in all our domestic operations. Please let the Manufacrurers know.

I can not see any thing bad.

it is nice and quiet while on its cycle, and when you take the clothes out after they have been washed i was suprised at how much water is removed from them making the drying time much less.

The purchase was for my mother, who loves the machine. Simple and easy to use and her comment was that she "had to watch the machine to check it was still going round it was that quiet".

Only fills with cold water where as my previous Indesit washer filled with hot & cold which cut the time of a hot wash cycle down
