Nokia 6300

Fantastic design. Simple to use and navigate. This helps to make quick texts and phone calls efficiently. The phone simply looks good, better than any other model on the market. This means that not only do you look great butyou can save time and energy with this nokia.

Battery seems to run out quickly.

It's solid - a nice "handful". It has a nice, big, clear screen. It is relatively intuitive in operation. I haven't read the hand book and am getting all basic functionality, but may be missing some features. That will become apparent, if/when I do the rsearch, properly.

Nothing significant, although I find the battery life a bit less than I expected (Did I expect too much?. I was also a bit disappointed to find the charger design has changed from my previous Nokia models. I acknowledge the new one is lighter, but now I don't have any spares.

I had had my fill of 3G phones - a million features & applications and each and every one of them slowly zapping away the battery life!! My last one, within half a day, despite a full overnight charge, was running out of steam. The Nokia 6300 is brilliant. It looks good. It's small (but the buttons aren't - a personal bug bear of mine) and most importantly I can text, call, take photos/videos & check my calender & messages for a good 1.5 days before I start to lose battery and get 3 days if it's just on standby. I don't use the internet on my phone, and have to say I'm not missing the 3G applications at all. I bought the 2GB memory card for the 6300 (tiny!) and have got lots of music, photos and video on it without any problems at all.

The camera isn't the best - but fine for quick happy snapping. If you store too much video, then new videos don't record properly and playback is jittery. The only really annoying thing is that the SKY MOBILE application for setting your SKY+ box won't run on this phone!

small with good battery life , it`s very light and easy to use and i like the option to put yourself notes on the screen. It has a good signal and it`s quick to perform fuctions.

It`s not 3G, software isn`t good enough and i couldn`t sync it with my old phone (nokia N80) to tranfer data. It`s a little basic in what it can do in all areas and it`s too quiet tone-wise.

Radio is a must.

Can't scroll down through a text message to get to the message details as with older phones. Also, is it completely impossible to transfer or copy all inbox, sent and saved messages to a computer????

Great looking phone, easy to navigate menus, with good onscreen info, especially daily upcoming notes, meetings etc on view at all times.

Buttons can be a little fiddley when texting (hitting 2 as the same time etc) and the centre button doesn't always register that it has been pressed.

The screen and the plastic back scratches very badly and I am extremely carefull with my phones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And this is the reason I would not recommend it.It is expensive but very cheaply made.

The battery life was not so good, it would only last for about a day or two. The built-in memory was poor.

It looks good, size is great. Easy to use. Texting is really easy and quick.

The battery life really is short. My last nokia lasted much longer.

The design is very compact and easy to use, the navigation is very simple and the screen is bright and easy to see. The keypad is also easy to use. Nokia is very good at design and userability, the phone looks good as well.

Not noticed any as yet - but it would be nice if it was either slide or flip phone

The Screen is great but it's so different to my previous phone I find it difficult to get used to. However I am 60 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really small and slim, easy to use, great phone. MP3 player is pretty good, as is the sound quality. Looks great and doesn't scratch easily.

Onboard storage is pretty small, make sure you buy a 2GB MicroSD card to store photos and music on. It comes with a 128MB MicroSD card containing the games and a few other things. Loading times are moderate.

Good functionality for a fair price I think, lightweight, tidy, professional looking, easy to use phone. I'm a big fan of this model and so is everyone else that I know who has it.

Slim design and all the features i require

Styling is a little odd, would have liked all the buttons in one section and the screen in a separate section - the phone looks like it has a small keypad and the rest is a huge screen (slightly odd). Battery life could do with being longer.

Nokia software generally the clearest of any manufacturer. Lovely clear display. Good build quality and keyboard.

The phone looks very good and has a nice weight to it.It has the typical nokia layout which is easy and straight foward to use. The screen is also not to bad .

There is no infrared on the phone which I have needed on a couple of occasions ,the battery life sucks WHEN ARE THE PHONE COMPANIES REALISE WE WANT MORE BATTERY LIFE !!!!!!!!!.The ring tones are not very loud I work in a noisy environment and it is not that easy to hear the phone or feel the vibrations when it rings. The record facility is is not loud enough if you want to make your own ring tone it is useless.

The phone is compact, stylish and easy to use. It has all the features you could wish for and is excellent as a camera.

No bad points of any note at all. I'm not in the least technology minded so the fact this phone is so easy to use makes it a definite plus for anyone!

Heavy; front cover does not sit snug to main phone which means that screen gets dust under it very easily.

Nokia 6300 is the one of the best mobile from Nokia, smaller easy carrie, very friendly software and 2MP camera,i love this phone.

A small bad point is the keypad, not comfortable for fast typing.

I love the metal construction, it looks very high quality, like the Nokias of old. the best part of the 6300 is the screen, it is very large with a good resolution and combined with the built in 2MP camera you can have nice photos of your kids as wall paper.

The buttons are a little too small for me (a man), not un-usable but a bit fiddly sometimes, also the speaker volume is not loud enough.

Camera/video is good, it looks good and is a neat phone. I like the organiser/todo list/alarm. I'm afraid I don't use all the features to their full extents, but am very happy with the ones I do use.

I have to charge it up much more often than my previous phone. I don't use it all the time so I'm surprised at how often it needs recharging.

Definitely the poor battery life. I'm not a big user and is mainly left on standby. On average I have to re-charge it every other day.

I threw mine in the bin and went back to my Nokia 1300 which can block callers. A simple feature and very useful on such a cheap phone - why it is not possible on the 6300 is beyond me.

Its a small and compact phone which does all the basics well. It also has a very good battery life.

The sound quality on phone calls is a bit low and hard for people to hear you on the other end but the VOICE CLARITY funtion helps with that.

This phone is very easy to use and the keypad makes texting very quick and easy. The phone looks very good and holds lots of music, texts and photos.

The battery can run out quite quickly if you keep it on all day or use it lots to send texts or call people, but it doesn't take long to charge up.
