Not sure yet but the battery does not appear to last as long as I was advised it would do.

The Nokia 6500 Classic is a very small and lightweight phone packed with features considering the compact design. Has all the standard features you would want from a phone, such as 3G, GPRS (EGPRS for networks that have it) Web/Wap, Email, a half decent Camera, a music player to allow chavs to annoy people on public transport!!! An easy to use and very customisable layout to the software. Included applications vary by network, but Vodafone offer Google Maps and Ebay amongst others, which are very handy. Overall a very good phone for people who just want a phone with standard features.

Battery life is poor, but this can be optomised by turning off some of the more power hungry "always-on" features - GPRS and Bluetooth being classic examples. The USB connection is not a standard USB Mini B connection so you will have to buy specialist leads, though it comes with one USB lead and one USB charger.

the buttons i find hard to use. the battery life is poor. the overall size of the phone is awkward for me.

It looks good and has all the things you need from a phone from email access to bluetooth and a media player

it fulfills all my phone needs and is easy to use as well as being stylish.

Too thin so really difficult to text, can't adjust the volume for calls, randomly cuts out in the middle of phone calls even when I'm standing still in middle of excellent reception area, battery life very poor (running out by the end of the day), predictive text cycles in bizarre order so end up in capitals.....

It's a compact size, looks good and is quite easy to navigate. Lots of features, if you like that sort of thing. If, like me you just want a phone for calling and texting (and possibly putting the odd reminder on) most of those features probably go to waste. Nice big screen and easy to read characters. Camera is quite good for everyday use, nice and clear.

The key pad is extremely small. Because the buttons are so close together texting quickly is quite hard and uncomfortable. I also find the phone a bit too thin - it gets lost in my bag and it's hard to hold comfortably when you're on the phone. The battery when it runs down, runs out completely - it doesn't have enough to sound the alarm (on previous Nokias I've had it's always had enough to ring one alarm) so don't forget to recharge if you're relying on your alarm! It has yet another Nokia charger. We now have 3 different charges in our house for 3 different Nokias - is that really necessary? It's a right pain having to track down the right charger to fit the particular phone! Internet browsing isn't great - but that may be a Vodafone problem instead of phone.

camara is fantastic even in a pitch black room u get a very clear picture. i transfered some of my files ie videos and photos from my other phone to my nokia 6500 and the quality was instantly different the pictures were clearer and the videos were better as in pic sound.

There is little warning when the battery is going to run out.

I can't delete or keep old messages easily as I could with my old phone. It locks automatically and sometimes I would like to turn off that feature Bit disappointed with the camera and picture quality.

Super cool look. compact and small yet a really durable phone. Everything you need (software and capabilities) for basic phone use.

Battery life is a joke. Speaker is on back of 'phone. This is a problem for hands free volume (muffled) as the unit lies very flat.

Overall the phone has lived up to my expectations........it took some getting used to as the keypads are slim and i've come from an 8800 and the software was slightly different. I have an active job and the slimness of the phone is excellent for putting safely in your pocket without being cumbersome.

I was disappointed that the entire phone case was not metal, as I am accident prone and very clumsy. As I have come from an 8800 I can't quite work out why the entire back of the phone is plastic when obviously nokia could have made it metal. This would have been great for durability, although, slightly contracting myself, it hasn't broken, 'YET'!!!! And, as usual, I have dropped it and generally roughed it up a bit.

I like the colour, the small size, the smart good look, battery life, Nokia.

Battery life is terrible and if making frequent calls expect it to last no longer than a day before it needs charging again. Menu can sometimes seem over complicated when compared to previous nokia models.

It is small & light, looks good, and makes decent quality pictures. The connecting cable is MUCH less fiddly than earlier Nokia models and doesn't break as easily. There are also less complications in connecting it to the P.C. and uploading/downloading music and pictures. The sound and connectivity, as always with Nokia, are good. The amount of storage is fabulous!

The keypad locks automatically when not used for about a full minute, which is a useful feature if you often forget to lock your keypad but can be quite irritating if you are about to do something and hesitate too long. The keypad is also a bit small, but it seems all phones are going that way now for the sake of a bigger screen. There is no warning beep when the battery is low, but perhaps that can be changed, I haven't tried.

It looks great - beautiful colour and is small so fits in a small handbag. It has a large screen which is bright and colourful.

The buttons are quite small so often press the wrong one.. The sound quality on it is not very good and it also gets REALLY hot when used for over 2 minutes.

sound quality isnt too god, very 'tinny' sound, no bass at all unless when using headset.

screen goes black when not in use, so can't tell when battery has died and phone has switched itself off. Also, when charging a flat battery, it will not let me turn the phone on for at least an hour, which is useless if you need to make urgent calls, ESPECIALLY when you didn't realise how low the batter was in the first place because of the black screen!

I have always selected a nokia phone as I find their interface very friendly and easy to use.

My phone conversation cannot last over 1 minute, otherwise, there will be crackling and whooshing noise.

Had to have a replacement as screen broke very easily, battery life is pretty poor, Nokia PC Suite software is complete and utter pants.

It looks good and is an OK phone.

Since getting the phone I have been unable to send multi media messages and I cannot access the internet.

I managed to break the phone's LCD screen (my fault) but did reveal that it isn't as robust as previous Nokias.

Being a Nokia it is easy to use. The phone is thin and compact. Really REALLY basic for your needs. Camera is good quality for a 2 Mega Pixel (and fast)

The battery is terrible! I need to charge it everyday if I use it. If its on standby 2 days max! The screen is really small, not suitable for much except basic phone (which I put as a plus) No memory expansion slot, but for me personally. 1GB is enough (for others it might be a bad point)
