Sony Ericsson W910

The W910i is great! It is stylish and easy to use and the shake feature on it is really fun - I like to listen to music on the way to work so this is the best phone for me. The sliding mechanism is also good because I can not accidentally make phone calls (which I am prone to do). Previously I had a W850i which I thought was pretty smart but the W910i is so much better.

There are not many bad points but I do have a critisism about the size of the memory card. Previously I had a W850i and i bought a 4G sony memory card so that I could tranfer loads of music to my phone however, the W910i has a much smaller memory card (physical size not memory size) and I now have to purchase a new 4G card that is compatible with the phone and transfer my favorite tunes all over agian (of which there are many).

Slow web browsing.

It's good for music (as a walkman). It's a nice mobile because of it's light weigh and it's cool design. Also the 1GB memory card is more than enough for your songs. It organizes the songs by many factors (artists, albums, etc) like an ipod :)

Its Camera is bad (2.0 MP) and it doesn't have neither auto focus not flash. Also I wish it had a built-in WiFi.

the battery doesn't last more than 2 days if u listen to music a few hours a day and the camera isn't that good...but i guess it's ok for a walkman

It has a very cool look but it isn't bulky. The walkman is great and shake control is a brilliant feature. The game marble madness is brilliant because you tilt the phone to move the marble. Some of the themes also use this effect which is also fun. The camera is excellent and is always commented on. I have recommended it to a friend and would recomend it to anybody else.

There are not many bad points for this phone but i would mention that although i really like the theme 'eclipse' the menu navigation is not good at all and therefor not used. The camera could have a few more effects, e.g. facewarp or more and better things to add on to pictures etc.

Brilliant mp3 player, Simple to use

Predictive text isn't that brilliant.

I have always been a Nokia fan but not any more. I'm now a true convert to Sony. This phone has such a lovely and very instinctive feel to it. I would recommend it to any one. I bought this phone for the walkman features and although the sound quality isn't the best when played through the speakers, the quality through my blue tooth headphones is amazing.

The connect to internet key is too easy to hit by mistake. It would be better if the software asked you 'are you sure you want to connect.

Best looking phone u will get without getting one of those silly iPhones and their touchscreens

Nothing will ever be ergonomically as good as the w550i so every new phone leaves me with a slightly empty feeling ha ha.

had 2 of these in first month, eventually settled for a nokia n81 8gb as build quality was so much better, i kept getting emergency calls only and the volume buttons stopped working, camera could be better ie flash

Its overall OK, works well large memory.

Its nothing special, it's just the same as the older versions with a new design. It is ok, but just hasnt got any wow factor. Also it switches to stand by sometimes for no reason. The keys are hard to use and I often hit the wrong one when texting. the speaker is poor quality too,

Purchased this contract for my daughter and we have had nothing but problems going wrong with the handset. The worse problem is turning itself off and the screen going blank.

the w910i is a smashin phone its so easy 2 use

some times the phone will crash but you just turn it off an on an it works as normal

the good points of this phone are:-good screen resolution , great music player, doesn't scratch easily,can shake to change song, automatic keypad lock , radio signal (best out of all sony walkman) high memory capacity and it looks good.

when these phones are shipped out they are automatically set in 3G mode which if you dont use the video calling facillity on your phone slows down the network and causes problems when calling out or sending texts you can change this by going into the phones settings menu and changing the mobile network to GSM only option.

The phone is stylish, easy-to-use, is lightweight and compact, has good music facilities and comes with good attachments.

I have had two of these phones within 2 weeks and that is because it kept switching itself off for no reason

Music is easy to find and the applications are good (like music mate). 1GB Memory card allows to get started straight away

Low Battery Life lets it down especially when listening music

the original phone failed after one day the second phone failed after about 5 or 6 weeks which meant sending it back for one week for repair

Nice music player on it and the memory capacity is good.

Text messaging can be a little awkward with the keypad, the buttons are not raised enough so hard to feel where you are pressing without looking. The battery life is a little too short, my friends who have the phone have also commented on this.

We've only had it 3 months and already we've had to have it replaced because it was faulty and then buy another memory card for it because it was faulty and not covered by the warranty.

THE SCREEN

IT KEEPS JAMMING UP AND FREEZING, SWITCHING ITSELF OFF AND CUTTING OFF THROUGH CONVERSATIONS AND TOTALLY WOULDNT' WORK ABROAD.

Good looking phone, small and compact and nice sized screen. Good for mp3's.

Key pad buttons not great, a bit slippy and fiddly. Battery life should be better. On/off button not recessed so you can turn the phone off in your pocket by accident...basics this one, an idiot could have spotted this one before bringing it to market!

I am welll impressed with the phone as a total package. As the phone is still relatively new I am still finding new features. But up to now I am very happy with this little gadget

Now and again the video recorder comes on by it's own accord and won't switch off. The only way that I have been able to deactivate the video is to remove the battery and the replace it.

no locking keypad so does tend to ring out to people without you realising it whilst in your pocket / bag. Battery seems to be loosing life and doesnt seem to be lasting as long even though charged every night. Phone has switched off for no reason a few times also which is bugging and unexplainable.

It's easy to use and in sync with all other Sony Ericsson phones. The music features are great, especially the SenseMe, which is a nice added bonus. The slimline design is fab and convinient, and the battery life is more than adequate, even when using the MP3 player.

The top line of the keypad (1, 2 and 3) are quite awkward to use, i'm not too sure why this is.... The additional speakers are not the best, with the sound quality between them and the phone's own built-in speakers hard to distinguish between. The lack of a flash is quite annoying, but the phone wasnt purchased for its photo taking abilities, so not that much of a problem.

Reliability, a flaw in the memory (apparently) on many earlier batches caused complete failures of the phone. Hopefully now fixed for future owners. Had to send my first one back. Battery life is not good at all.

its a really good phone i would recomend it. the basic design is good the camera is good quality. it connects to the internet quickly.and you can have email sent to your phone. and the music player is excellant.overalll a good phone.

the battery life isnt that great. andd if the phone is in a bag the navigation key is to close to the top. and connects to the internet on its own.even with key lock on.

I really like the product! Its got a really modern and stylish look which i love. The music part to the phone are realy good and is one of the best things about it. its also got really good memory so tht i hold lots of music on there which i think is really good. i love my phone and a lot of my friends have now brought it because they have seen how good it is. i think it is one of the best phonees out at the moment and would highly recommend it to others!

The battery life could be better but it is still good. Another thing which i think it quite bad is that it doesnt have a light when taking a photo with the camera this makes it very hard to take pictures in dark areas. If it had a light then i think it would be a bit better.

Very good for music plus has a radio. The slim design of the phone is very good too not to bulky.

Text messaging inbox and outbox dosn't work sometimes comes up with an error, and you have to go to master restart which means if you have messages you wanted to keep you will lose them, and also new numbers unless you back them up. I have had 2 of these mobiles and it happend with both of them.

The overall look of the phone - it isn't bulky like the nokia n80's etc

It's a cracking little phone. It's an easy to use phone texting downloading ect. Very stylish looking, it was my first slide phone and I quite liked that feature.

The shake controle isn't really shake controle unless you hold down a button, so you have to take it out of your pocket but if your doing that you may as well skip it manualy.

The Sony Ericsson W910i is great. Its design is a big drawer. The phones features are intuitive and easy to use. Some reviews mention the set continually crashing - I haven't had any of these problems. The phones music capabilities are second to none and all sounds are clear.

Can be a little slow at times and the loadspeaker function isn't that fantastic even in a quiet environment.

The phone set up is such that connecting to the web is all too open to a missplaced finger. I have no need to connect to the web but have done so on a few occassions unintentionally. I have immediately exited it but have still been charged over £3.00 just for connecting for moments.

The Phone looks great, it is easily workable and has great music storage, capability and sound production. Camera and video storage is excellent and the two mega pixel camera is more than enough for what I use it for.

The only fault I have with this phone is the battery life. Following a full power restore I only have to go out for a run with my music on, or play a game and I have lost half of the power available.

I like the way the screen automatically rotates if you tilt the phone. Easy to navigate to different menu items.

Battery life.

Its easy to use as I've had a Sony before and it is easy to move around the phone in the different menus.

Keypad is slippy when texting or in general trying to use it. Keypad doesnt always lock when you slide it down. I always connect to Vodafone live by accident because the keypad isnt locked and when im pressing the back key too much so am wasting money on live when im not even looking on it for anything pretty annoying! The camera isnt as good as my old phone which was W800i a white one.
