easy to use, great features being able to doc your ipod and also download to the hard disk drive
Bass gets distorted at high volumes, would be good if it has a graphic equaliser, also take ages to load the hdd with your cd's, takes approx 15mins per CD

Looks very nice, feels like a quality product
Gives the impression that the USB port can be used to upload music files but it is only true if the source is a Sony product

It does exactly what I want it to (almost!) As far as I can tell the sound is excellent, and certainly more than adequate for my needs. I've put almost my entire CD collection on the hard drive and there's still plenty of room for more. I'm really pleased to be able to play from my MP3 player as well, and to be able to listen to my favourite radio station (UCB inspiration.) When my old CD player began to show signs of collapse, I researched the market, and this is (almost) perfect for my needs. Also it's very easy to fill up the MP3 player from the hard drive - much quicker than doing it through the computer.
I haven't yet sussed out out to select and play an entire CD from the hard drive. Although the music seems to be organised according to the CD it's on, I tend to find that, when I select a CD to play, it has a mind of its own and goes back the the CD that is alphabetically first on the list. This is easily remedied either by using the CD itself(!) or by programming what I want to play, as it's really easy to programme up to 25 songs.

Good quailty system for price. Connectivity to other devices (I Pod, MP3). Easy plug and play features.
Not really a bad point as such but if the display feature were able to raise and lower when powred on would be an added feature.

Good digital radio, sound quality good from small speakers
Controls on top of unit, which makes using them difficult if unit is sighted on or above eye level. Transferring music from Ipod,CD or USB is slow. Unit switches off when speaker leads are extended.

Looks great, huge memory, easy to use, good sound quality.
Takes time and can be fiddly to label unrecognised tunes and albums.
