large port hole, ease of loading/unloading. Quick wash excellent. spin very effective, almost dry.Wash efficent. Leaves clothes less crumpled than my last machine, No vibration on spin. Large drum can do a big load whearas before I had to do two, or leave surplus untill I had made up a loadf. I think Zanussi probably stands as one of the top two washing machines for reliability. My last Zanussi went without a problem or service for ten years, problems came after it was moved to a less stable site, affecting the bearings, but was still working, and had no rust on body when it was scraped.

cold fill only, if I had warm water just standing in my tank, say from my other heating I could save energy by using that.

This machine is very straight forward and easy to use with a good selection of programmes. The delay start is good idea if you want to use cheap rate electricity overnight and have your washing ready to hang out when you get up in the morning, without it being sat damp in the machine for hours! The quick wash is around 30 mins, perfect if you're in a hurry. The eco 40% wash is lengthy but you get a good quality, fresh wash at the end of it! You have to expect some noise from a 1600 spin but it really works and clothes come out nearly dry and not too creased due to the large drum size. I have an open plan kitchen/lounge and I dont find the fast spin noise too disturbing considering, nor does it wake me up when running overnight! My favourite feature is the cold hand wash programme - I took a chance a tried it out on my best hand wash only angora/wool jumpers and i was amazed! It really works! the clothes come out the same size they go in - no shrinking, nothing mis-shapen, and the adjustable spin speed means items only get a delicate wring. I can't reccomend this machine enough solely based on the effectiveness of this programme! I have ruined so many hand wash clothes through sheer laziness but now I don't have to worry : ) Overall the machine looks nice, gives an excellent wash, saves on drying time and doesn't make too much noise so I'm very pleased with the purchase.

The spin is really good, the clothes are quite dry when they come out.

The spin can be really noisey, but not on every wash. This is not even dependant on the size of the load. Also, it is had to tell how long the wash has to go because the dial does not go around and there is no digital display.

A rated for energy - this machine has a wide range of programmes and handles a large load with ease. The 1600 spin means the clothes come out virtually dry. Would always buy Zanussi as my last two both lasted over 10 years and were very reliable and cost next to nothing in repairs.

High speed spin can be alittle noisy and some of the programmes are a bit long.

Doesn't actually say that it is a half load in the paperwork/instruction book. Is it? I understood it was and that is one of the main reasons I purchased this model. I now believe it fills with water depending on the load but not too sure. It should be more specific.

It washes and spins very well and is very easy to operate.

It is very noisy and sticks out too far from under the work surface.

Takes too long to wash clothes if you don't use the quick button.No half load.and definitely not a 1600 spin.you can only use the 1600 spin on selected cycles.The 1600 spin is more like a 1000 spin. the clothes come out wetter than my last washer which was a zanussi 1200spin.Has no 1000 or 1200 spin either.not impressed with it at all.Too many cycles that you wouldn't use.Can't control it with the wash cycle i like and the spin i like.

All new COLD water intake only washers like this just take AGES to wash your stuff. When will manufacfturers realise that we DON'T WANT THIS, it isn't green and it isn't clever. I've read it's noisy, esp on 1600 spin - luckily I have a separate wash room so just close the door. If you've got an old hot & cold washer take my advice and keep repairing it for as long as you can, all NEW washers are rubbish !

doesn't show the length of time for the cycle and cannot find this information in the book either, except for a few of the progammes. Once it has started onthe cycle you can't tell how long it has to go. ie, once you have selected the programme the dial stays there and doesn't move.

Washing and spinning are both excellent and the larger size drum is really good for bigger items. I had a bosch last time and I think this machine compares really well, considering the cost I have no complaints at all.

There are plenty of different programmes. The delay timer is a useful feature.

The programmes can be paused at a touch of a button, which is easily reached by my toddler!!

much less noisy than my old machine. looks good. seems to wash clothes well.

Each load seems to take such a long time. There is no half load button. When using the rinse and spin cyles on their own it seems to be such a slow process. It also takes an age for the door release light to activate so that the door can be opened. It seems to negate the idea of using the less crease cycle because the clothes are scrunched up until that light ignites to tell you that you can open the door and retrieve you washing. However, perhaps I am being too harsh. Overall I am pleased with the machine so far, although always the pessimist, it's early days, ask me again in six months!

This washing machine is very easy to use with lots of different cycles. It has eco cycles which i like has the delay start which is very handy, so the washing is ready to be hung out in the morning before i go to work. It runs quietly and efficiently. I run the machine every day and it always performs well.

There aren't really any bad points - the only thing I would have liked would be an indictation as to how long each cycle lasts (this could perhaps be put in the instruction book). My previous washing machine had a display that showed the length of time the cycle had left to run. It is sometimes useful while you are getting used to the machine to have an idea how long it is going to be.

Does exactly what it says i the tin. My last zanussi operated for 15 years. Ask me in 15 years what I think of thisone.

Must be switched off at the mains if you want to get rid of power lights. Would prefer hardwired on off switch.

For the price and the overall ratings this machine more than lives up to the high billing it is advertised as It has a delayed wash function, useful for my life as I come home to find the washing dione enabling me to do two washes in one night and have one load back off the line before the other has to go out

Really have not had it long enough to find out but so far the spin speed is great. I am only using a couple of washes and they seem ok for my needs at the moment. I had a Zanussi for about 13 years so I will have to wait and see.

Does what it says on the tin, easy controls, simple settings (although lots of others if you want to mess), but I always find you only use one or two on a regular basis. Clothes come out almost dry. Very pleased with it.

not used to the length of time a wash takes compared to old machine, but that I'm told is to do with the reduced amount of water, when comparing wash times all the AAA rated ones seemed to have much longer times in general.

Excellent washing machine lots of programmes with a top spin of 1600 or lower spin if required. Very easy to operate.Exceptionally quiet, have had to check to make sure it is still running! Everything you need in a washing machine!!!

The only bad things I can find is the door does'nt open fully, making it quite difficult to empty and load washing between the door and the wall it is sited by!!! Also cycle times can be long, but I have learnt that if you select a quick wash programme it is obviously much quicker and washing still comes out clean!
